Print on card stock or thick paper.
Turkey: brush brown paint on the palm and a different color on each finger, press the hand down, let it dry, then glue a cut-out turkey over the palm.
Thankful Tree: paint the hand and lower arm brown and press them down, then add fingerprint leaves in red, orange and yellow.
Let it dry flat and frame it.
THE POEMS ★
Turkey: "Gobble, gobble, here I stand, a turkey made from my own hand. Every finger, every feather, says I'm thankful we're together."
Thankful Tree: "My hand became a tree so tall, with golden leaves for early fall. Each fingerprint, a leaf of red, for every thank you I have said."
